Nutella Brownie Doughnuts

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

Okay so you NEED these in your life – and there’s only THREE ingredients. That’s right – THREE. You can do this, you’ve got this!

Nutella is one of those nostalgic flavors that feels like home and travel and family, without ever having it before. It’s a delicious mix of cocoa and hazelnut, and it’s delicious with so many things. This is Nutella at it’s (almost) simplest – just a bit more than straight out of the jar!

Also – as always with my doughnuts, these are BAKED! If you don’t have the doughnut pan, you can also use muffin or mini muffin pans, they just won’t technically be doughnuts anymore 🙂

Nutella Brownie Doughnuts

Okay so you NEED these in your life – and there’s only THREE ingredients. That’s right – THREE. You can do this, you’ve got this!
Prep Time 10 mins
Cook Time 15 mins
Total Time 25 mins
Course Breakfast, Dessert
Servings 8 doughnuts

Ingredients

Doughnuts

  • 1 1/4 cup Nutella*
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour**

Frosting

  • 1/2 cup Nutella

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Coat the doughnut (or muffin) tins with PAM or similar cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, add nutella, eggs, and flour. Mix to combine.
  • Fill each doughnut cavity with the mixture – all the way to the top.
  • Bake for about 12-15 minutes (or until toothpick comes out clean)
  • Let cool.
  • Meanwhile, add the 1/2 cup Nutella for frosting to a microwavable bowl. Heat for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until it is more runny. You want it to flow off a spoon slowly.
  • Once brownie doughnuts have cooled mostly, carefully remove them from the pan, and dip the tops directly into the melted nutella. Sprinkle with your desired toppings, or just keep them as is.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

*You will need more than a 13 oz jar for the total recipe, so I suggest buying a large jar of nutella – always good to have on hand!
**I always use King Arthur’s Flour – personally the best all around, but you can use whichever AP flour you have on hand
